I am Jane Cameron, and I currently teach 7^th & 8^th grade art, the art section of 6^th grade exploratory block, and 6^th grade English .  I was born and raised in Oklahoma City, attending OKC public schools and Oklahoma City University. I have been teaching since 1998. I have taught language arts, Spanish, study skills, art, and computers at the middle school level and EVERYTHING at the 5^th grade level! I’ve also enjoyed helping out with the STEPS afterschool and summer programs, getting to teach kindergarten through 12^th grade. I have been a Nationally Certified Teacher since 2003, and I am also an Instructor for Great Expectations and a Fellow for Oklahoma A+ Schools.

I have been married for eighteen years, and we have three boys who all attend Harrah Schools. As a family, we enjoy rodeo and hunting.

I believe that it is a blessing and a privilege to work with kids, and I enjoy them all – from the little kindergarteners at STEPS (Watch out! They use their cuteness to be ornery!) to my hilarious 7^th graders, to the oh-so-tall high school kids (I swear they were in 5^th grade at Russell Babb just yesterday)! I love being a teacher!
